You will need a security device that protects you from your tv company. A home security system will not do this. You need some special home security systems for you cable box. I work at Big Brother Busters and I received a call from Direct TV Thursday, July 1, 2010 asking me if I would like their new satellite tuner for "free" to replace my 15 year old tuner. I ask at that time of the call, if it had a camera in it. He was really excited that I had heard of it, and said, "yes it was in there". I replied, "marvelous, send me one". I will have all the widgets but not any loss of privacy or freedom.
The big question is, why would they care if I had an old tuner, and why give it to me FREE of charge? The latest, the spiffiest, all the bells and whisles, FREE. No shipping, no handling, FREE. It will be here within 3 to 5 days from that call. Am I lucky or what? I will bet that there have been others who have had that same call. Did they take it? I'll bet they did.

Our homes are suppossed to be our private zone. Not invaded by THE CABLE OR SATELLITE COMPANY OR BIG BROTHER. I had heard about this some years ago and passed off as Weirdos. But then after reading about Comcast page 3 and them wanting to make automatons out of us just to sell advertizing I started to look closer. It seems that Cox, page 4 ATT, Direct TV, Dish, Microsoft and Intel are all on board with this outrage and that is probably not all that is involved. The cable companies, satellite companies and INTEL and Microsoft tells us that it is not just cable boxes and tuners. It is also about your new HD TV. That's right, your TV's have in them cameras and microphones, they are setting up the next coming systems as in the clip on page 5 and "Sony's new Bravia 3D TV is watching you on page 6 ".

THEY are ones saying they are watching you, I am just reporting this to you. The choice is yours if you want somebody snooping into your homes and into every room where you have a TV, 24/7.
Some people will give up their privacy and freedom for this technology. If you have or are getting a security system from ADT or Brinks then you also need Big Brother Buster. Your home is already invaded. Cameras and microphones are already in your home in the guise of your Television. It knows when you are home. Hey the Pentagon and CIA get hacked, do you think that the cable company or satellite companies can't get hacked?
Orwell just had the dates wrong, but it is here now. They had to wait until TV broadcast was digital before being able to do this.
